Telemedicine – Remote TCM Treatments
We are committed to the individual care of our patients – also during the COVID-19 crisis (also known as Corona virus).
We are happy to still be there for you during this difficult time. It’s our goal to provide ongoing support and help to keep you healthy and optimistic.
What we offer during remote appointments
Depending on your particular situation, sessions may include:
- Evaluation and treatment of conditions (except acupuncture and other therapies that rely on physical contact)
- Developing treatment plans to support your immune function, to assist you in illness prevention and/or recovery
- Individualized dietary and/or lifestyle advice, self-care techniques
- Addressing emotional challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic
- Prescription of herbal medicines and/or dietary supplements (will be shipped to you)
How does it work?
We normally use Zoom for video calls, but can also switch to FaceTime or Skype if that works better for you. You can use your computer, tablet, or phone for the appointment. If you are not able to do a video call we can of course also consult you during a regular phone call. Please know that the options for evaluating your conditions are very limited this way.
Herbal formulas can either be picked up or shipped to your home.

What about treatments involving acupuncture, cupping, and moxibustion?
We hope to be open to in-person appointments again in July.
How to prepare for a remote appointment
Please make sure you have a reliable internet connection, preferably WIFI.
Treatment of COVID-19
Herbal TCM strategies have been proven to be helpful when treating mild cases of COVID-19. Please note that Chinese herbal medicine is not a substitute for conventional medical treatment and should only be used as a supportive measure.
Our remote treatments are not appropriate for emergency situations!
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been around anyone that is sick, please seek care from an urgent care center, ER, or your primary care physician.
